It's been over a year since my last post, and of course, a lot has happened since. I shaved my hair in March 2011 and managed to raise nearly $4k. I did at the Karratha Shopping Center and the feeling I had was the one I was getting married but did not know to whom, as I had no idea how would I look without hair. At first I was going to shave to a number three, but the night before Henry and I decided that since I am the one making the choice, why not go all the way?! I would encourage everyone to shave their hair for a good cause. It was deliberating, as I had to keep my hair long through a hot Karratha summer and in the end it was like loosing a bit of yourself to find a way to your inner self. I would definitely do it again, but ever since the shave I have not been able to let my hair grow... The short hair does suit me...
As we move away from March, we found ourselves selling our houses in Karratha in September, taking a holiday to Brazil in Oct./November and learning to live again in the city. Yes, we are back to Perth, to the suburb of Hilton, near Fremantle...
There is never a dull moment in our household, that's a sure thing!
